Our visit to coastal Massachusetts coincided with an occurrence of a
super moon in which the full moon was closer to the earth than its been in almost two decades. As a result it would be bigger, brighter and cause bigger tides. So we decided to head down to the ocean at low tide and see if there were any cool treasures exposed by the receding sea. It also happened to be the girls' first ocean experience.
Blessed with a gusty warm spring day, the girls confidently trekked down to the water.

And then Lucy kept trekking.
And that was the end of our day at the beach.
That was just absolutely just too cute!!!!
