100 Acre Woods

On a gorgeous Friday afternoon, Grammy, the girls and I met at the Indianapolis Museum of Art's new 100 Acre Park to enjoy a little outdoor nature art.  Favorites included the park benches that were shaped as slides and spirals and the pier in the shape of a topographic map.  The whole experience was greatly enhanced by having our own highly trained docent to show us around.  Grammy, we look forward to your next tour!
Sage in front and Lucy standing behind.

Lucy and Lion enjoy a moment in the Indian summer sun.

A bench AND a little girl sized slide...this is some highly functional art.

Our private docent (aka Grammy) spots Sage on the big slide.

Lucy plays on the topographical map pier.

Kickin' down the (pebble)stones and feeling groovy!
