Thanksgiving 2010

We celebrated Thanksgiving in the Chicago suburbs this year with our cousins Amy and Andy.  Wonderful food, wonderful toys for both kids and adults and wonderful company.  We look forward to hosting them down here if we can ever get Amy out from behind a camera.

The following day, after cleaning up the mayhem we caused at Amy and Andy's, we headed over to the family farm to see Aunt Lynette and Uncle Dave.  Our good friends, Robyn, David, Catherine, Camille and baby Celia came out to help us feed the chickens.  And celebrate Robyn's birthday.  And introduce us to our goddaughter/godsister/step-godchild Celia.
Lucy makes sure that her beloved Lion gets enough to drink of Thanksgiving morning.

This is how Thanksgiving was meant to be - cranberry sauce in the  hair, empty plate and a big grin.

Just add cranberry sauce and Daddy and Lucy would be in the spirit.

Lucy is pretty stoked to be able to pet an actual, live kitty cat (our cat Koogle would never go for such shenanigans)

Sage plays with her tiger suitcase.

Chickens in need of toddlers to feed them.

Whew!  Toddlers showed up to feed chickens.

Some people shop the day after Thanksgiving, Sage and Lucy inspect the tractors.

And the barns.

The beautiful and serene Celia.

For the first time, the Richards and the Phellehers play together.

Happy birthday, Robyn!
