Little Pink Potty

2012 was the Summer of the Potty. Aged 3, the girls were still mastering mounting and dismounting techniques, becoming familiar with new potties, and learning to listen to their body signals. I found it easiest to just keep a potty with us wherever we went -- you'd think Blooprius and our collapsible red wagon were equipped with a factory installed little pink plastic Ikea potty. This winter we will transition back to the respectable, civilized behavior of keeping our bodily functions private, but I will never forget this summer when the girls would carry their little pink potty to just the right spot.

  2. Lara, It's a lot like having a dog. If #1, the girls insist on dumping their own (favorite spot is under a tree, perhaps because they're marking it?). If it's a #2, I bag it up and dispose of it (and the associated wipes) in the nearest appropriate receptacle. xxo, Jen
