Onekama 2011

We returned to Onekama, Michigan, again this summer. Not only is it my happy place, but we've found that going someplace we know - both the setup of the cottage and the geographical area - makes travel with little ones much easier. It's also fun to see the development of the girls from when we went when the girls were just 5 months old, to last summer when they were toddlers to now...when they are big girls hiking through the woods to the beach.
Picking Eating...blueberries as fast as Brian and I could pick them.
Playing in the waves.

Toad hunting.
Beach walking.
Pier exploring.
Cherry gorging.
And generally being silly.
This year we change things up for a night when we headed two hours north to Walloon Lake to see our friends Robyn, Camille, Catherine and Celia Richards and their Nana, Mrs. Rastetter.
And when my parents joined us in the cottage at the end of the week.
