Labor Day with the Richards

Jen's dear friend, Robyn, has two year old G-G twins and is expecting her third G in early October.  Realizing that she needed a hand preparing for the arrival of the new little one and to celebrate the birthday of the not-so-new bigger ones and never passing up a chance to see good friends, we headed to Chicago for Labor Day.  Mostly we were looking forward to the luxury of a two night visit...not the breeze through town visits we've become all to accustomed to.  The weekend did offer all of what we expected...and a bad cold for me.  In spite of this, we had a great time.  Brian assembled the new baby's crib.  Robyn and I got the party in shape.  All the girls played nicely together.

And on the way home, we snapped some pictures with our favorite photographer, Amy Weiland!
